Dear Mirlo friends,

The time has come to look at this past year with the great satisfaction of having achieved many of our goals. We keep on working, hoping that our readers enjoy the stories and music that we present to them from our studio, and we see with great pride that each of our emails is opened by several hundreds of people: many are subscribers, but there are also many new visitors who we can’t account...

We started the year 2022-2023 with Schubert’s “Winterreise”, and after that:

• we launched our store for editorial and promotional products in line with our work in the studio: Mirlo Music Editions —> Mirlomusic.store

• we celebrated Christmas with Tchaïkovsky’s “Nutcracker”, and we continue to produce digital cards in the form of NFTs, which you can see here.

• Our Mirlo Library grew this year with new videos such as Oscar Wilde’s “The Happy Prince”, with music by Claude Debussy, and many more —> www.mirlo.studio/mirlomedia-2023

• we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Sorolla with music by Isaac Albéniz, in a special concert in which Manuel Gimferrer premiered his composition FOUR SEASONS. You can listen to Manuel's presentation of this composition on his website, www.manuelgimferrer.com. We will continue bringing news about this, as it is part of a special collaboration with visual artist Grace Hye for an NFTs collection.

• educational books and materials such as “Cancionero de Mirlo”, and other titles from the Cuéntame una Ópera collection are on their way in order to serve educators, with next year in mind.

Since we launched this newsletter in the fall of 2020, our goal is to get you to stop and give yourself a good moment to enjoy and reflect as well. We don't like rushing, and we believe that surely there are many of us who use calmness to connect with ourselves. Furthermore, we know that children need these moments for their balanced development.
