Mirlo Studio since 2020…
Despite time seems to slow down around us, this summer is going to be a very busy one for us, since our studio is moving…
When moving, you get the time to look at the past and tide old things, discarding what is not of use anymore and recovering what has enriched us and we are still grateful today. We need to save all that is good and that can provide energy to all that can provide energy to keep up and progress.
Manuel Gimferrer decided to call his music studio “Mirlo Studio” in 2020, and in October of that year we started this newsletter. Since then, some good artists and friends have come to the studio, and they have collaborated in several different projects. Moreover, Georgina Mauriño introduced us to new technological opportunities, while other visual artists opened our eyes… and Mirlo Studio also made new friends from different places around the world, who also entered our studio with their music, images, and talent.
Mirlo Studio is today much more than just the studio of Manuel, and we wanted to bring our friends to our website. Therefore, this summer we are remembering all that we have been sharing during our journey so far. Next year, we will start a new stage and we hope to count with you. Since we do not use social media, the best way to connect with us is via email, here.
In Summer, moreover…
We are following the launch of the last series of NFTs from the FOUR SEASONS collection, created by Grace Hye and Manuel Gimferrer.
The FOUR SEASONS Foundation is the custodial for the four original pieces, and they have just released the piece, “The Summer”, from which the 12 NFTs will be on sale in a few weeks. You can have a quick look in the video below or watch the whole piece in this link.
The piano compositions created for this collection by Manuel pay tribute to classical and popular music connected to every season of the year. You can learn more about such music pieces in this set of short videos...
About the images for the NFTs, they were created by artist Grace Hye from her original artworks made in ink on paper, after the music. For the collectibles, Grace explored new possibilities using A.I. tools. Grace Hye brings here her very unique personal technique looking for beauty as an invitation to connect with our “innerverse”.
At Mirlo Studio we have brought to you this pioneer project in different moments, since we think it is opening new ways of expression for artists and connection for collections. This approach to Art goes far beyond conventional formats, and in our studio we are learning a lot with this experience. We also wish this is an interesting journey for our readers, and we hope to keep sharing the future steps of this collection and of these artists.
See you soon!
