NEW FORMATS for the Academic Year 2023-2024
Academic year 2023-2024 at Mirlo Studio
Between now and the end of the year our studio will undergo a transformation that will undoubtedly be reflected in this newsletter.
Mirlo.Education
At Mirlo.Studio we are building a new platform, which we are going to test with our content, but which we also hope to open to contributions from other authors, educators at home and in schools.
The idea was born with the aim of making Georgina and Mirlo's legacy available to educators in formats that may be useful to them: video-books + other materials, and at the moment we are already moving forward with a prototype including a few of our own titles, and which we will expand throughout the course, also with other contributions.
We hope to be able to launch this space in the coming months, in a modest way but with the hope of creating a meeting place for educators and children who want to grow by sharing and creating together.
Activities and recordings
Manuel is going to be very busy outside of the studio. Until December he has the final stretch of his master's degree in orchestral conducting...
Without a doubt we will bring you some news about the launch of FOUR SEASONS, a project that we have already presented to you here.
This year Manuel also hopes to organize a private concert and record a video, but as of today he is still waiting to confirm dates and plans.

New Podcast Episodes
In line with the content that we are preparing for our new educational platform, we are preparing new podcast episodes, which will continue the path started this past spring with the conversations about Cancionero de Mirlo. Some will bring you stories directly from Georgina and Mirlo's catalogue, and perhaps we will be lucky enough to get an interview of interest. The next titles will be:

Socratic Mirlo
This course we will launch Dialogues with MIRLO: short monthly posts (around 10 lines), where we will try to question ourselves about general topics of culture, art and education. With this, we want to share out loud those debates that sometimes arise privately in our studio.
To stop and think is something that is sometimes forgotten in a world dominated by social networks and their algorithms. And yet, it is essential for mental health and good development in childhood.
We will also keep our store open for those who want to buy our books, ebooks, AudioBooks, CDs… You can also find there t-shirts, mugs, and even a notebook!
